It is an imposing edifice, the exterior of which is severely medieval, with magnificent interiors pertaining to the renaissance style. The museum contains Dante Alighieri’s death mask as well as works by Donatello and Michelangelo, as well as frescoes by Bronzino and Giorgio Vasari.
